The Only Half-Day Program in the RSCO Portfolio

About ECAMP

Featuring a dual credit, early college, half-day program for high school seniors!

The Early College Advanced Manufacturing Pathway (ECAMP) at Goodwin University is a half-day magnet school program serving 12th-grade students/scholars throughout the Hartford metro region. Scholars receive free transportation to the Goodwin University Campus in East Hartford where they take advanced manufacturing courses for high school and college credit.  The goal of ECAMP is to develop the industry-ready proficiencies and knowledge of the scholars in our program such that they are ready for immediate entry into the local workforce.

Our rigorous 21-credit curriculum prepares scholars for success in industry by supporting their growth in a variety of industry-related skills including: blueprint reading, manufacturing math, metrology, CNC machining, and many others. ECAMP scholars gain in-demand skills on industry-level equipment, leading to high-paying, rewarding careers in the field of advanced manufacturing.  Scholars are also eligible to participate in a paid, industry pre-apprenticeship during school hours.

Upon successful completion of the program, graduates receive an Advanced Placement CNC Machining certificate from Goodwin University  and a certification from the CT Department of Labor (DOL). The DOL certificate grants 200 hours toward a first apprenticeship in manufacturing.
